Training
We offer flexible training to suit your level of computer skill.
Ask yourself these questions:
I’m intimidated by my computer, what can I do?
If I press a wrong button, will my computer break?
I’m confused about the internet?
How do I write a letter on my computer?
How do I turn my computer on/off safely?
How do I use this mouse thingy?
What do I have to do to send and receive emails?
My child is struggling with the computer. What can I do to help?
Can my kids use the computer and surf safely?
Why won’t my printer do what it’s supposed to do?
Sounds familiar? Having a computer can be exciting and also perhaps a little scary if you are new or not sure what to do with that strange box sitting in the corner. One of the most common comments we have is, ‘I want to chuck the thing out of the window!’
Your computer can do so much for you. At the simplest level, you can:
Play DVD’s all at the press of a few buttons.
Buy all manner of things on line and from the comfort of your own home, without the inconvenience of trudging around shops!
On your first lesson, we will asses your level of experience and target the training on what will suit you best. Having a set course structure can be demanding and too inflexible for many people.
Experience shows that everyone is different. Some people are quick to pick things up and others need to take their time. We never rush you. If you are not sure, we will go over things repeatedly if necessary, until you are happy and we can move on to the next problem.
Our charges are reasonable priced at £35.00 per lesson and we recommend that the lessons to be weekly or fortnightly, as this helps you to remember what you have learned.
